The Auteuil tennis context
Jean Leclercq and John Mollanger met and befriended three decades ago around a shared passion for tennis while both were working for Nike. After co-founding a renowned tennis boutique on Avenue Kleber in Paris, while each pursuing an international career, they naturally remained connected to their passionate worlds.
In the late 2010s, John and Jean perceived a signal that would form the foundation of Auteuil: the community of tennis players who value the sport's distinctive elegance could no longer find themselves in the existing offering. The balance between performance and style was compromised. The brands present seem to have given up on satisfying the different communities in the world of tennis by consolidating a unique technical and stylistic proposition.
This community of connoisseurs therefore expresses a need for a brand dedicated to them, one that understands not only the functional needs of the game, but also its culture and codes, all at a flawless level of execution and sophistication. A brand that is as intimate and close to them as the clubs in which they play.
Their vision is clear: this brand will be Auteuil, an uncompromising and timeless alliance of tennis performance and elegance. More than just a brand, AUTEUIL will be a second club for modern musketeers.
